Dayloom is designed to organize calendar information on your device. The current app does not operate a Dayloom account service or send your calendar and family data to a Dayloom server.
This policy explains what the app handles, where it is stored, and what happens when you connect an external calendar provider.
Information you add or import
Depending on how you use Dayloom, information stored by the app may include:
- Family member names, avatar images, and display preferences that you enter.
- Calendar subscription names and URLs that you provide.
- Calendar events and calendar names imported from connected sources.
- Outlook.com account identifiers and calendar details needed to show calendars you select.
Avatar images are resized and image metadata is removed before they are saved. Names, images, imported events, and other saved calendar state are stored in the app’s local database, encrypted using AES-GCM. The encryption key is held in the iOS Keychain.
Microsoft Outlook.com
If you connect Outlook.com, Dayloom uses Microsoft sign-in and Microsoft Graph to identify your account and read the calendars you choose, including shared calendars. The app requests read-only calendar permissions and does not modify your Outlook events. Microsoft access and refresh tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Sign-in and calendar requests go to Microsoft. Microsoft handles that information under its own privacy terms. Disconnect an account in Settings to remove its imported events and saved Microsoft tokens from Dayloom; you can also manage app access in your Microsoft account settings.
Calendar subscriptions
When you add a calendar feed, Dayloom connects from your device to the server named by the HTTPS or webcal URL to retrieve its calendar. That server may receive normal connection information, such as your device’s network address. Treat a private calendar URL as a secret: anyone with the link may be able to read that feed. Dayloom encrypts saved subscription URLs and imported calendar data in its local app storage.
Camera access
Dayloom can use the camera to scan a QR code containing a calendar subscription URL. Camera access is used for scanning; the app does not use it to record or store video.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the email address and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, or private calendar subscription URLs.
Website and service providers
This support site is hosted by GitHub Pages. When you visit it, GitHub may process standard technical request information as part of providing the hosting service. Please review GitHub’s Privacy Statement for its handling of that information.
Sharing, advertising, and analytics
Dayloom does not sell your personal information. The current app has no advertising or analytics service integrated. Calendar and family data stay in local app storage except for the connections you initiate to Microsoft and calendar feed providers described above.
Your choices and data removal
Remove a calendar subscription or disconnect an Outlook account in Settings to remove its imported events from Dayloom; disconnecting also removes the saved Microsoft tokens from the device. Remove family members in Settings too. Deleting Dayloom removes its local app database. These actions do not delete the original calendars at their providers. Contact support with privacy questions at lumeiapp@outlook.com.
Children’s privacy
Dayloom is intended for adults organizing a family schedule. It does not knowingly collect children’s information through a Dayloom-operated server. Adults may choose to enter family member names or images; that information is kept in the app’s encrypted local storage.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Dayloom changes. The effective date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
